Bardic Activities at Glory

Bards are an important and central part of Glory, including the Northern semifinals of the Windhover Bard competetition, classes and performances each day, and bardic fires each night.

This year, there will be a dedicated pavillion with a fire (state fire restrictions permitting) devoted to bardic classes and performance. There will also be a sponsored competition for bards to compose a song or spoken piece in either a Viking or Saxon theme, with bonus points for a perfoamance based on something witnessed on the field, with one prize going to a bard performing from the Saxon point of view, and one prize to a bard performing on the Viking side.
